Fresh Chèvre Cheese from Goatlantis Farm

A childhood dream, a neighbor’s gift, and a herd of happy goats—welcome to Goatlantis.

Our Story

Goatlantis is a small family farm near Lac La Biche in Northern Alberta, raising Nigerian Dwarf goats and crafting artisan goat cheese from fresh goat milk. As first-generation farmers, we're learning the art of cheesemaking while sharing our journey from city life to farm life. Our goal is simple: raise happy, healthy goats and create delicious, handcrafted goat cheese using fresh milk from our own herd.

The Artisanal Landscape

We weren't born into farming. We spent most of our lives in the city, but a lifelong dream, a move to the countryside, and a generous gift of our first goats changed everything. Today, Goatlantis is our journey of learning farm life from scratch, raising Nigerian Dwarf goats, crafting artisan goat cheese, and sharing every step along the way. Welcome to the adventure.

Customers' Voices

“You can tell this cheese is made by hand. It's smoother, fresher, and far more flavorful than anything we've bought from a supermarket.”

— Sarah & James, Lac La Biche residents
